Loewke Planning was retained by Golden State Lumber in 2015 to provide analysis and support for an Administrative Design Review and Zoning Clearance for a 73,938 square foot retail showroom, offices, and enclosed lumberyard on a 3.5 acre site located at 2180 Diamond Boulevard in Concord, California. Loewke Planning worked alongside Golden State Lumber and with City Staff to refine a proposed amendment to the West Concord Mixed Use District which had the potential to affect planned development of the site. Ultimately, Golden State Lumber was able to obtain approval of a prominent state-of-the-art enclosed building materials supply store in 2015.
