Loewke Planning led a team of environmental, engineering and design professionals to prepare a complete specific plan and environmental impact report on a key 72-acre commercial site for the City of Oakley Redevelopment Authority. Located at the entrance to Oakley on State Route 4, the project site is situated within the heart of a future employment and retail center. The proposed project has been coordinated with the previously adopted Inter-Regional Partnership Jobs/Housing Opportunity Zone and the Oakley 2020 General Plan to generate tax revenues and local jobs for the City. The specific plan and EIR address a wide range of planning and engineering issues, including design standards, the coordination of circulation improvements and sizing of utility systems to serve future developments within the area.
