The Antioch Regional Library project involves construction of a 45,000 square foot, public library facility within Prewett Family Park, a 98.3-acre facility located at the intersection of Deer Valley Road and Lone Tree Way in southeast Antioch. Potential environmental impacts associated with development of the library facilities were analyzed in early 2003, through an initial study and mitigated negative declaration, which included an alternatives analysis and mitigation monitoring and reporting plan. The environmental document included cumulative analysis of potential traffic, land use, and biological resource impacts.
